Castle tickets — book in advance Neuschwanstein sells out weeks ahead, especially May–September. Book directly here
Choose a slot from 11:00 AM if possible. If not, book earlier and let us know to adjust the route. We can try to buy tickets on-site, but this is not guaranteed.
Getting to the castle No cars allowed. From the ticket center: 1.5 km steep uphill walk (30–40 min), or take a shuttle/horse-drawn carriage. Wear comfortable shoes.
Good to know One of Bavaria's busiest spots. Expect crowds and 165 stairs inside the castle.
