YOUR LOCAL GUIDES
WHO YOU WILL BE TRAVELLING WITH
A tour is a fixed thing: same route, same hours, same stops, whoever books it.
This is not that. This is what happens when you spend your days with us. You tell us how you actually like to spend your time — how early you want to start, how much you want to walk or ride, whether you want a long lunch or a long view. We put the days together from there, using our own tours as the backbone, and rebuild tomorrow tonight if the forecast changes.
We are Rudi and Yulia. Rudi has spent more than thirty years in these mountains. Yulia handles the planning and the details you have not thought of yet. Between us, that is the whole company — which is exactly why nothing here is standardised. Think of it less like hiring a guide, and more like spending your holiday with friends who happen to know these mountains better than anyone.

WHAT THE DAY LOOKS LIKE
REAL DAYS, NOT A BROCHURE SHOOT

HOW WE PLAN YOUR BESPOKE TRAVEL
NOTHING HERE IS DECIDED TOO FAR IN ADVANCE
WE TALK FIRST
Not a form with drop-down menus. A conversation about what you like: pace, food, hiking or biking, silence, photographs, what you have already seen.
WE SUGGEST A FIRST DAY
Usually one of our tours — a castle, Zugspitze, a lake, a mountain — chosen because it fits what you told us, and adjusted before it even starts.
WE TELL YOU WHERE TO STAY. YOU BOOK IT
We know the hotels, lodges and apartments here. You book directly: no markup, no middleman, the reservation in your own name.
EVERY EVENING WE PLAN TOMORROW
With the forecast open. If the morning is clear we go high; if it turns, we have a valley, a lake or a spa day ready instead.
That is the whole method. Fewer promises made in advance, far more of them kept.
SEVERAL DAYS, PUT TOGETHER
TWO, THREE, FIVE DAYS — EACH ONE DIFFERENT,
NONE OF THEM DECIDED TOO FAR AHEAD
Most guests start with a single day. What changes on the second is that we already know you: how fast you walk or ride, what makes you stop, whether you want the summit or the terrace below it. The days get better as they go — something a one-off tour can never do.

DAY 1
A classic, because it earns its reputation
A castle, or Zugspitze and Eibsee. Long, scenic, easy on the legs.

DAY 2
Something almost nobody books
A valley road, a quiet lake, an e-bike route where you'll meet four people all day.

DAY 3
Decided by the weather
High and clear, or slow and low with a thermal bath at the end.
Private throughout. Tesla Model Y for the driving days. English, German and Russian spoken.
I came to Garmisch-Partenkirchen expecting beautiful mountains, lakes and a few days of exploring the Bavarian Alps. What I did not expect was to leave with one of the most memorable experiences of my entire Europe trip - and with Yulia no longer feeling like my guide, but like a real friend. From the very beginning, everything with Yulia felt incredibly personal. This was never a standard tour where you simply follow an itinerary and tick off famous places. She paid attention to what I enjoyed, how I was feeling, my energy, my pace, and then somehow kept finding ways to show me something even more beautiful. Every day felt as though I was exploring the Alps with a very knowledgeable local friend who genuinely wanted me to experience the best of her home. Over several days, we spent long hours together hiking, e-biking and exploring Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the surrounding Alps - including Zugspitze, Eibsee, Mittenwald, Lake Eibsee, and beautiful lakes and landscapes across Bavaria and Austria. I was doing some of these activities for the first time, and Yulia was incredibly attentive, encouraging and patient throughout. I always felt taken care of, while still feeling free and adventurous. What touched me most was her enthusiasm. She doesn’t simply know these mountains - she clearly loves them. She wants you to see the hidden paths, the quiet viewpoints, the little villages and the places that you would never discover by following a normal tourist itinerary. That philosophy of “travel with locals and see what others miss” genuinely describes the experience I had with Garmisch Alpine Paradise. (Garmisch Alpine Paradise) And somewhere between the biking, hiking, lakes, mountains, conversations, laughter and very long days together, the relationship naturally changed. I arrived as her guest and left feeling that I had made a wonderful new friend. That alone says a lot about how warm, sincere and generous Yulia is as a person. If you are visiting Garmisch-Partenkirchen or the Bavarian Alps and want something truly personal rather than a conventional tour, I cannot recommend Yulia and Garmisch Alpine Paradise highly enough. She will not simply show you the Alps - she will make you feel connected to them. For me, this became one of those rare travel experiences that I know I will remember for many years. Thank you, Yulia, for showing me your beautiful world - and even more, for becoming part of the memory. 🤍
ACTIVE DAYS
HIKING, E-BIKING AND TIME IN
THE MOUNTAINS
For people who travel to move. Not a training camp — a few days built around the way you already like to spend time outdoors, in terrain that makes it worth the trip.

HIKING
From gentle panorama trails to a real summit day, reached by car so the walking starts exactly where you want it to.

MIX OF BOTH
A hike one day, a ride the next, a scenic drive on the third. Whatever the forecast and your legs prefer.

E-BIKING
Lake circuits and valley climbs, with the electric assist that makes the Alps generous instead of punishing.

RECOVERY
A slower day by the water — a quiet lake, an easy stroll, time to just sit and look at the mountains.
Solo, or a small group of two to six: a couple, a family, or friends who move together. We build the days across your stay so you finish energised rather than wrecked.

TRAVELLING SOLO?
A large part of our guests travel alone — often women, often between business trips, often for the first time in years.
Here is what we can promise. You will not be put into a group. You will not be asked to make conversation you do not want. You will have one named person with you all day and one reachable by phone, both of whom live in this valley. We will tell you honestly which trails are fine to walk alone and which are not, and we will take you to the places where a woman eating alone at a table is completely unremarkable.
And we will make sure you go home with photographs of yourself in these mountains — not just of the mountains. Every solo guest we have hosted has mentioned it afterwards.
